Born in 1939, Clara and her siblings grew up during war time, when people did not have electricity or other modern conveniences. Clara's family worked and pulled together to survive. Her parents wanted their children to have enough food to eat and to get a good education. Clara grew up and became a teacher herself and taught at East Jr. High for 20 years. Hear how the school and school system has changed over the years.
