Q-6: Approval Of Amendment No. 1 To The Grant Agreement From FL Department Of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Funding Bathymetric Surveys And Collection And Analysis Of Soil Samples To Help Determine The Costs Of Implementing The Canal Restoration Strategies. Amendment No. 1 Provides A Slight Decrease In Scope Of Work Due To Delays In Work Performed By The Contractor (AMEC) Which Were Caused By Inclement Weather And Canal Access Issues. The Grant Agreement Will Remain At A Not To Exceed Amount Of $100,000, But Funding Will Be Reduced By Approximately $3,000 For The Number Of Miles Of Canals Not Surveyed.

Q-7: Approval Of Amendment No. 1 To The Task Order With AMEC Environmental & Infrastructure, Inc. To Perform Bathymetric Surveys And Collect And Analyze Soil Samples. This Amendment No. 1 Will Slightly Reduce The Number Of Canals Being Surveyed And Reduce The Funding Accordingly By $49.66 Per Each 1/10 Mile Of Canals Not Surveyed. The Estimated Reduction In Contract Amount Shall Be Approximately $3,000 For Canals Not Surveyed. The Final List Of Canals Not Able To Be Surveyed Within The Time Period Of The Agreement Will Be Included In The Final Deliverable Product By June 14, 2013.
