KSU's New Music and Entertainment Program
Kennesaw State University recently held the first class of its new music and entertainment business program. Students were greeted with a lecture from program donor, Joel Katz, one of the top tier entertainment lawyers. He is the lawyer to legendary entertainers including Willie Nelson, Sheryl Crow, Alan Jackson, Julio Iglesias, George Strait, and Jimmy Buffett. Here is Joel Katz with more.

Interactive "Experience Center" at GE Smart Grid Center
Gov. Nathan Deal and GE vice president Bo Gilligan recently opened an interactive "Experience Center" at GE Smart Grid Center on Powers Ferry Road. The facility will be used to teach consumers how energy is distributed and the benefits of energy conservation. Here is Cobb Chairman Tim Lee with his thoughts about the center.

Cobb 4-H Annual Plant Sale
Are you looking for a gift to give a special someone? Cobb 4-H has the gift for you. The Cobb 4-H Club is having its annual plant sale. Prepaid orders will be accepted until Friday, March 4. The order form is available at cobbextension.com or by calling 770-528-4076. Plants may be picked up at Jim Miller Park on Saturday, March 19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

In an effort to conserve natural resources and be the best steward of our budget, Cobb County will no longer print its annual report. Residents can conveniently access the 2010 Annual Report in its entirety online.
