Cobb DOT Roundabout Installation
Cobb County Department of Transportation is constructing its second roundabout at Burnt Hickory and County Line Roads, as part of the 2005 SPLOST funded safety and operational improvement project at County Line Road. Here is Cobb DOT's Scott Jordan with more.

Chattahoochee Tech's Mobile Medical Unit
Chattahoochee Technical College staff recently handed over the keys to a bus that has been refurbished as a mobile medical unit. The college installed the medical equipment on a bus that will be shipped to Ghana. Once there, healthcare workers will use the equipment and facility to check for hypertension and diabetes in patients while information is transferred back to the United States for analysis. Friends of Cobb Public Library has an ongoing book sale. The sale is being held at most library branches. Prices for sale items, which are mainly paperbacks and popular hardback books, start as low as $2. Patty Latch from the library system has more on this story.

Senior Center Thanksgiving
The West Cobb Senior Center recently held its annual Thanksgiving Luncheon. This event brings together those who may live apart from their families in an environment filled with laughter and fun. The event starts off with music and songs as entertainment and ending with a meal prepared just for them. For many of the visitors this will be the only Thanksgiving meal they'll receive.
