Toys-For-Tots Toy Drive |
|
During this time of year, bears and toys have taken over Southern Polytechnic State University
President Lisa Rossbacher's office, thanks to the annual Toys for Tots toy drive. The yearly
collection started by Rossbacher in1999 has turned her passion for teddy bears into a special
mission and tradition for the entire campus. To date, SPSU students and staff have donated more
than 1,100 teddy bears and toys to needy children across Cobb. Representatives from the Army
and Marines came to collect toys from Sting, the university's mascot.
