The meeting was held in Council Chambers at Memorial City Hall, 24 South St. Auburn, NY. Mayor Michael Quill, Councilor Debra McCormick, Councilor John Camardo, Councilor Terry Cuddy, and Councilor Peter Ruzicka were all present for the meeting. The meeting lasted 2 hour and 45 minutes.

Public to be Heard
Each week members from the public have the opportunity to address the City Council. The 'Public to be Heard' section of the meeting is held at the beginning of the weekly meeting. The guidelines for 'Public to be Heard' are as follows: Residents are asked to state their names and address for the record; all comments should be addressed to the Council as a whole and concern issues involving the City Council, City Government, or matters of General City concern; residents should be prepared to limit their remarks to 3 minutes or less; and, all speakers before the City Council will observe commonly accepted rules of courtesy and decorum.

Proclamations
The Clerk read the following Proclamations from Mayor Quill. A. Naming Saturday, April 26, 2014 as Jenna Blaisdell Hinman Day in the City of Auburn. Ms. Hinman's mother accepted the proclamation and addressed the Council. B. The Clerk read a Proclamation from Mayor Quill naming, April 25, 2014 as Worker's Memorial Day in the City of Auburn. CSEA local President Jessica Corcoran accepted the proclamation and addressed the Council. She introduced members of city staff that were in attendance at the meeting. C. The Clerk read a Proclamation from Mayor Quill naming April 2014 as Occupational Therapists month in the City of Auburn. Dr. Douglas Fyve from Auburn Community Hospital accepted the proclamation and addressed the Council.
